Microneedling
microneedling is the process of using very fine short needles to puncture the skin for the purposes of rejuvenation and collagen induction. These microscopic punctures signal a healing response in the skin, which causes collagen to start reproducing. This plumps the skin, smooths fine lines, reduces the appearance of scars and stretch marks, and helps even out skin tone.
Microneedling usually has immediate results with your skin looking plump, pink and luminous for a couple of weeks. On a short-term basis, it plumps the skin and makes the skin look more radiant from inflammation and very superficial swelling.
But microneedling also promises improvement over time.
According to a 2008 study, skin treated with four microneedling sessions spaced one month apart produced up to a 400% increase in collagen and elastin six months after completing treatment.
BB GLOW is microneedling with a shorter needle depth and using a pigmented serum to even skin tone. This is a temporary foundation that can last 2-4 weeks. A series of 3-6 is recommended.
MICROTOX is using a much shorter needle depth while simultaneously infusing a custom cocktail of vitamins, hyaluronic acid, and glowtox into the skin to plump, smooth and tighten pores.
