toxin touchups

touchups are often necessary after treating with neurotoxins. Reasons can be that muscles are stronger on one side and need additional units. Sometimes there can be undesired movement in certain areas or pointy/overly raised brows. This is an easy fix, so please call back for a complimentary touch up.

Complimentary touchups are only for strange movement or unevenness.  If muscles are stronger or require a higher dose, then additional units need to be purchased.

For toxins, you must always wait at least 2 weeks for a touchup. this ensures that the full effect has taken place before adding additional units. If more is added before waiting, brow heaviness, eye ptosis or unevenness can occur.

Typically we take a conservative approach when treating with toxins, especially if it's your first time. We recommend starting with a lower dosage and then working up to higher amounts if needed. If you did a treatment and it was not a high enough dosage for the results you are looking for, this would not be a complimentary touch up, and additional units would be need to be purchased.

We also recommend waiting the full 3-4 months minimum before treating again (full dose) to prevent resistance to the product. It is also a good idea to switch up different toxins each time you treat. This will also reduce resistance. Glowhaus does not "water down" any product and we pride ourselves on the excellent results that we are able to achieve. sometimes toxins react differently, you might be immune to certain strains, or you may have become resistant. glowhaus can not be held responsible for any particular toxin not performing the way you had hoped or are used to. If this happens, please contact your provider to discuss other options for treatment.

please contact us as soon as your toxins kick in for complimentary touchups. if you wait longer than 3 weeks, then you will be  charged for the units used.

filler touchups

Depending on the type of filler used, and the area treated, you need to wait at least 2 weeks for swelling and bruising to subside before a touchup can be performed.

Typically we take a very conservative approach when treating with dermal fillers, especially if it's your first time. Most people require multiple syringes to get the desired result they are looking for, however, we recommend starting with smaller amounts and then building up to the desired effect.

1 syringe of dermal filler is 1ml and is equivalent to 1/5th teaspoon. This is a very small amount and we work hard to make that tiny bit go as far as possible, but please remember that it's best to use small amounts to prevent filler migration and build up to the volume that you want.

We are able to save any unused filler for up to 3 months and then it must be discarded for safe and sanitary practice. You are responsible for remembering to use the remainder of your filler and booking an appointment within that time frame. We don't send reminders or notices before discarding.

Touch up appointments have a $75 fee that covers time and additional materials needed such as numbing cream, ice packs, etc.

Small amounts of filler can build up over time causing an unwanted all-over plumping that doesn't look natural. We recommend dissolving filler after 6 sessions in the same are to prevent and avoid this.
